The indoor water park is fantastic for kids and keeps them entertained for hours. The staff needs to improve; we had issues getting clean towels. Great beach access and fun activities like table tennis and kids' club. The room was a bit dated and could use some updates.

Fun hotel for all ages. The North Tower is preferable—better amenities and updated feel. Staff is exceptionally cordial, making guests feel welcome. Recent stay put me in the South Tower; while the room was pristine, I missed the conveniences of the North. Issues with my security deposit remain unresolved despite multiple follow-ups. Elevators broke down, and my room's outlets malfunctioned. The lack of washcloths was surprising. It felt as if resources were being rationed. The water park experience was disrupted by needed repairs; kids weren’t bothered, but it added inconvenience. No hot water at night was a letdown. The dining arrangements could be improved—elevated access needed—but the cheerful demeanor of the staff made the stay worthwhile.

The view from our oceanfront room was to die for! 🌊 Our days were filled with fun at the incredible indoor and outdoor pools, plus the beach access made it so easy to soak up the sun. ☀️ The full kitchen in our room was perfect for quick meals after all the fun!
Can't recommend highly enough! ❤️😊

The room was clean but outdated, with minimal amenities. The tiny kitchenette barely accommodated our needs; only one burner worked after a fix. The bathroom had visible wear, with cracks in the shower stall and questionable cleanliness around the tub seams. Temperature control was inconsistent; water pressure varied drastically. The TVs seemed like an afterthought—one wasn’t even plugged in. The noise level was manageable. The view from the balcony was lovely, and free parking was convenient.

The pools were awesome — so many options to pick from! My daughter was obsessed with the water park; we spent hours just splashing around.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but worth it for the fun.

Dunes Village offers a convenient spot right by the beach and is close to attractions. The friendly staff made us feel welcome from check-in to housekeeping. The full-size refrigerator and microwave in the room added to the comfort, perfect for family stays.

The ocean view is perfect and made every morning amazing. The staff is super friendly and the variety of pools kept my daughter entertained for hours.
I walked into a messy room that needed a serious clean before I could unpack.

the location was great and we enjoyed the hot tub.
someone entered our room without knocking and the sink was clogged. the service at the concierge was misleading and annoying.

The three-bedroom oceanfront balcony offered a stunning beach view, and the kids loved the water park and activities like tie-dye and crafts. we faced several issues. The TV had limited channels, and the cleaning standards were concerning—like a filthy coffee maker. The restaurant staff was rude, our check-in was a hassle, and we dealt with cockroaches on the balcony. Cash was needed for activities, which was inconvenient. While the location and amenities had potential, the service and cleanliness left a sour taste. The good times with my kids and the scenery were a bright spot amidst the frustration.

The room was spacious, with a handy mini kitchen, and the pools were fantastic, especially for the kids! Plus, the view of the ocean from our room was breathtaking!
We were very disappointed to discover a bed bug in the room, leading to a room change. Housekeeping only came twice in a week.

Great indoor water park, but parking was tight and room cleanliness could improve.

I loved how this place was right near everything I wanted, with the beach just a short walk away and attractions like the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel, Broadway at the Beach, and the Pinball Museum all within a 5 to 10-minute drive! The hotel featured friendly staff and comfortable amenities, making my stay enjoyable overall. However, the check-in experience could use some improvement; there was a mix-up with my room that could have been handled better.

I was really frustrated with the lack of washcloths; I asked for three and got just two, which felt ridiculous. Plus, finding a dead cockroach on the floor was just the last straw for me. Pretty gross experience.

The quieter location was ideal for families. The indoor waterpark was a hit, and the Cabana Tiki Bar was my go-to for quick refuels. The hotel's amenities kept everyone entertained.
Had a delightful time cleaning my supposedly clean room.

the resort is large and offers many organized activities for kids for a reasonable price. the outdoor night dance party was one of my favorites, and the water park included with the stay was a great bonus. the staff, including shanee, amy, and the concierge, provided exceptional service, making us feel welcome. our 2-bedroom ocean view room with a full kitchen was perfect for our family of 4. the dinner restaurant on site was convenient, and the beach area near the resort was well maintained and clean. the staff did an excellent job at making us feel welcomed. overall, an amazing staff and an amazing experience.
Everything was fantastic! ✨

The courses were pristine, and we enjoyed playing a few rounds at different spots. The picturesque views and challenging holes made our golf experience truly memorable.
My wife says that more kid-friendly dining options would enhance the family experience.

My friends and I had a blast hitting up the crazy outdoor waterpark and chillin' at the pool with all the cool activities! Plus, being close to Dave & Buster's was lit - so much fun in one spot!
More late-night hangout spots nearby for us young party animals would've been clutch.

Great beachfront location, multiple pools, lazy river, and water amenities. Family-friendly with indoor water parks and beach chairs provided.
Felt like a VIP, no reason to complain.

Had a blast during our Christmas stay, with grandkids enjoying the numerous water park and pool amenities available. The proximity to dining, shopping, and activities was convenient, all within a 10-minute drive. Being right on the beach offered stunning ocean views, adding to the overall experience.
Room cleanliness was a major issue, with ongoing roach sightings that impacted our enjoyment.

Our initial room on the first floor had old carpet that smelled of mold and mildew, which was a major turn, off. It took some time and back, and, forth with the staff before we were finally moved to a penthouse room with ocean views. The bed in the room was falling apart, but we managed to make it work since we didn't spend much time there. One of the TVs in our room wasn't working, and the bathroom had a musty smell due to an unwashed shower curtain. We also spotted roaches in the entryway of one of the water parks, which was quite unsettling. the restroom facilities at the water parks were not up to standard, with one even smelling of feces. On the bright side, my kids had a blast at the beach and the various pools and water slides. The water amenities were great, and the views were indeed amazing. The staff was polite and responsive to our needs, which was a plus. there were quite a few cleanliness issues in our room, with outlets falling out of the wall and the sink and bathtub frequently backing up. The lack of TV functionality and the inconvenience of the separated properties were also drawbacks. I was disappointed with the lack of supervision from staff regarding child safety, especially when parents were not attentive. amenities like the Tiki bar not being open on weekends and the unpleasant smell of chemicals in the indoor pool area were disappointing. the concierge service left much to be desired, with misleading information and pressure to attend presentations. The room itself had stained sheets, a dirty comforter, and general untidiness, making our stay less than ideal. while there were enjoyable aspects like the water park and attentive staff, the cleanliness issues, lackluster amenities, and unsatisfactory concierge service left a lot to be desired. I'm not sure if I would choose to stay at Dunes Village again in the future.

Our 4-day vacation at a beachfront retreat with on-site water parks and a lazy river was a blast! The oceanfront rooms offered breathtaking views, and the water slides and lazy river provided endless entertainment for our families. The Tiki bar offered excellent service, and we loved lounging by the pools and taking quick walks to the beach. The location was ideal, with easy access to restaurants, including the delicious Captains Cafe. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring a hassle-free check-in and check-out process. We were definitely impressed and will be returning for another stay.
Some initial issues with the room cleanliness and a problematic breaker tainted our experience.

My family and I stayed in an Oceanfront Queen Suite. The room was spacious and mostly clean, and the beach and water park were fantastic. I'll recommend this hotel.
